You could be eligible to bill add-ons (additions to the regular rule rate of reimbursement) for these services:
- Behavioral: + $0.82 per 15 minutes,
- Medical: + $0.16 per 15 minutes,
- Complex care: + $0.82 per 15 minutes and/or
- Staff competency/longevity: + $0.51 per 15 minutes.
What kind of money are we talking?
An HPC Provider recently asked us to review their past claim submissions because they weren’t sure they billed the add-ons.
We reviewed 350 days prior (the DODD limit) and found over $100,000 in add-ons that could be resubmitted!
