Adult Day Services are consolidated into one PAWS rollup code, which may include:
- Adult Day Support
- Vocational Habilitation
- Group Employment Support
- Adult Day Support Community
- Vocational Habilitation Community, and/or
- Virtual Adult Day Support
A daily unit of Adult Day Services consists of 25 (twenty-five) 15-minute units, or 6.25 hrs.
In order to bill a daily unit of Adult Day Services, 5-7 hours of service must be provided.
For services duration less than 5 hours, or more than 7 hours, or if multiple service types are delivered in a day, 15-minute units must be billed.
Virtual support and any billing with behavioral or medical assistance rate add-ons also require 15-minute unit billing.
Note: Non-medical transportation must be billed separately and cannot overlap with Adult Day Services.
