New Requirements for DODD Providers Begin October 1st, 2025
On Monday, August 25, 2025, @ 10:00 am, representatives from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) and the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) will host an informational session to explain the upcoming EVV changes, discuss their potential impact on providers, and share helpful tools and resources to help support you during the transition.
Starting October 1, 2025, new claims validation requirements will take effect for DODD providers. Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data will be reviewed more closely before payment is made for specific services (Homemaker Personal Care and 15-minute unit Respite) covered under the Individual Options (I/O), Level One, and Self Waiver programs billed through DODD.
