Did you know? The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) updated the Compliance Review Tool effective June 1, 2025.
All newly certified providers should expect a compliance review within their first year of billing, and every provider will be reviewed once during each 3-year certification period. Preparation is essential! Providers will receive notification at least 90 days in advance of a routine review.
MBS recommends conducting an internal review to ensure you’re ready. The updated Compliance Review Tool outlines the exact requirements DODD will be evaluating during your review.
