

DODD’s Office of System Support and Standards (OSSAS) provides support and oversight to county boards of developmental disabilities and providers that deliver services to thousands of Ohioans and their families. In addition to conducting regulatory reviews, OSSAS focuses on:
- Provider support
- Service coordination supports and
- The development of a single statewide assessment and ISP
Routine compliance reviews are conducted once during each certification period or term of the provider’s accreditation or licensure.
It is important to take time to prepare for your review. These documents might be helpful in preparing for your review:
- 004 Agency Provider Compliance Review Tool 11/1/22– this is the same document used by reviewers. It is your guide to the requirements the reviewers will be looking at for compliance.
- 015 Agency Required Docs List Effective 4/1/22 – this list tells you what records the reviewers will need to see during the review.
