The SSA Boot Camp speakers are a group of dedicated professionals representing a diverse background in the DD industry.


Keynote Speaker: KENNETH W. ALBERT, M.Ed., CPA, President MCG, Inc. – Mr. Albert has worked in the nonprofit and government accounting field for over twenty years. He has been an intricate part of the Ohio Medicaid programs since 1986. Mr. Albert has served on numerous committees assisting with the development of various programs for public and private organizations who serve individuals with disabilities. Mr. Albert is known as a dynamic speaker who is affluent on a wide array of subjects including programs, staff development, and finances.

ASHTON BENTON – Billing Specialist, Medicaid Billing Solutions, leading the TCM Training in SSA Boot Camp, she assists new SSAs with the understanding of TCM case noting, billing and compliance.

ANDREA CAHILL – Navy Veteran, Nationally Registered EMT, and has worked across the Country as a Paramedic, Firefighter & Hazmat Technician.

LARA PALAY – Co-Founding Partner at Aldridge Palay Consulting, and a clinical social worker in private practice.

TANAI LYLES – Former Large Agency Provider QIDP, Training Developer, and current SSA Training and Development Coordinator with Clearwater COG.

BARB SAPHARAS – Consultant, and Mentor-Trainer for The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices, who worked in county boards in many different capacities.

SHARI WEBER – Director of Provider Services, Medicaid Billing Solutions, she provides perspective in relation to waiver services utilization and management, as well as the importance of planning and communication.

SSA Boot Camp is designed to deliver collaborative, comprehensive, accurate, and usable information to new and existing SSAs. Through ground maneuvers, air maneuvers and war games, Boot Camp trained SSAs will come back to the county with an overall knowledge of the SSA job and the tools to work with confidence.
