When reporting units for the County Board Cost Report, allowable SSA activities are separated into two categories:
- TCM Units – Allowable units provided to individuals who are Medicaid eligible
- Other Allowable Units – Allowable units provided to individuals who are not Medicaid eligible
The activities themselves are the same (Monitoring & Follow-Up, Referral & Linkage, Assessment, Care Planning, and State Hearings). The only difference is the Medicaid eligibility of the individual being served.
All allowable SSA activities for eligible individuals should be case noted as allowable, regardless of Medicaid eligibility.
