If an eligible individual becomes incarcerated, all services provided during the period of incarceration should be documented as unallowable.
Exception:
Allowable services provided on the day the eligible individual is incarcerated and the day the individual is released may be documented as allowable.
Reminder:
All contact related to the individual should be documented, regardless of the service category.
