As we approach the end of 2024, it’s time to wrap up your TCM case notes to ensure complete and accurate payments.
Make sure you’ve completed these key tasks:
- Enter all case notes
- Complete all revisions
- Confirm the proper AM/PM is documented.
- Verify that services after date of death are not coded as TCM allowable
- Check notes for individuals residing in an institution (these should be coded as unallowable)
Starting a new year is also a great opportunity to pull reports from the previous year and double-check for accuracy. Taking these steps will set you up for success in 2025!
